About Me
I'm Sig Campbell, and my strongest belief is that storytelling drives & enlivens humanity's ability to connect. Pursuing writing and sharing stories allows me to find empathy and catharsis. Writing dialogue for Roger Corman was my break in the business and since then, I've been published in People, Deadline, Broadway World, and SAG-AFTRA Magazine. You may have seen my pre-production copy for SyFy, Lifetime, Hallmark, El Rey Network, and STARZ.
Screenwriting is my first love, but I've worn a lot of different hats. I'm an author, ghostwriter, English teacher, editor, essayist, creative writing instructor, and photographer. I've led casting and audition workshops with CSA certified casting directors and SAG-AFTRA union performers. I've run social media channels and created behind-the-scenes content for the SAG Awards, the Patron of the Artists Awards, and For Your Consideration panels. If you're looking to get married, I'm a licensed minister.
In 2022, I started Sig Campbell Services, providing expertise in ghostwriting, screenplay and novel editing, copywriting, copyediting, social media management, and consultation. I've continued to mentor gifted students in essay writing, creative writing, and English.
At my core, I'm an introvert who loves reading books and watching movies with my husband and two dogs. Still, my desire to take in new experiences and undiscovered knowledge is an innate part of who I am. I'm a forever learner who welcomes new insights and conversationalists. I live by two rules: love is love, and the truth is the truth.
A few of my favorite films: East of Eden, Cinema Paradiso, Donnie Darko, Ed Wood
A few of my favorite shows: Lost, Twin Peaks, Party Down, Buffy the Vampire Slayer
A few of my favorite bands: Fleetwood Mac, ELO, Tom Petty, Day Wave, The Midnight
A few of my favorite doughs: Cookie, Pizza, Brioche, Sourdough
Reading, writing, and editing aren't just my bread and butter; they're my whole meal. Please feel free to drop me a line at sigcampbellwriting@gmail.com
